A pantry that takes care of you and your baby

Having some simple and nutritious foods at home makes preparing meals and snacks much easier, especially on days when you feel most tired or when nausea makes it harder to decide what to eat

  • Wholegrains: oats, brown rice, wholemeal pasta, mixed-grain or wholemeal bread, and low-sugar cereals;
  • Pulses: chickpeas, beans, lentils, and peas, dried, frozen, or jarred;
  • Tinned fish: sardines, mackerel, or tuna, preferably in water or olive oil and with lower salt content;
  • Nuts and seeds: walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, and seeds, with no added salt or sugar;
  • Olive oil, herbs, and spices: to season and add flavour without relying too much on salt;
  • Quick snack options: plain crackers, mini cheeses, peanut butter with no added sugar, or dried fruit in small quantities;
  • Practical freezer options: vegetables, fruit, fish, and pre-sliced bread;
