Why don't I feel pregnant yet?
It is perfectly understandable that you are asking yourself this question. After all, you have just found out that you are pregnant, but you might feel like your body is still exactly the same.

Some start to feel changes very early on, such as tiredness, breast tenderness, nausea, or a greater sensitivity to smells. Others spend the first few weeks with virtually no symptoms. Both situations can be completely normal.
It is important to try not to compare your pregnancy with other women's. Having lots of symptoms doesn't mean your pregnancy is going better, and having no symptoms doesn't mean, on its own, that there is a problem.
Women who were looking forward to their pregnancy with great anticipation tend to be more aware of small changes in their body and, therefore, often spot the first signs earlier. On the other hand, those who were more relaxed or who weren't expecting to get pregnant may take longer to notice these changes, even when they are already there.
Remember, there is no "right" way to feel pregnant. Your body and your baby have their own rhythm. If any doubts or concerns arise, we will always be here to talk them through with you.
